Michele Derrick

Michele Derrick is a retired Special Education Teacher & former Professional Dancer. Michele has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance and a Masters of Science Degree in Special Education. She also is fluent in sign language. Michele became a drummer & percussionist during the COVID 19 Epidemic. She then formed “The Dehaven Carrington Foundation” a mobile school for music, dance and sign language. This school’s goal is to reach the people who are often forgotten and give them quality instruction in the arts Michele is very happy and honored to be part of the Drumming for Your Life Institute.
