Responsible as C.E.O. for the implementation of the Cohen Clinic for Veterans and Military Families at USC. 1998 – 2015 Director of Mental Health, County of Los Angeles · Administrator for the County’s public mental health system, with a 304% growth in gross budget from $495+ million in Fiscal Year 1997-98 to nearly $2 billion in Fiscal Year 2013-14, and currently serving over 250,000 clients through the 4,500+ county employees in multiple programs and clinics. 2010 – 2012 President, Board of Directors, California Social Work Education Center · Led the Board of Directors of the largest consortium of its kind in the nation made up of California’s 20 accredited social work graduate schools, county departments of social service and mental health, the California Departments of Social Services (CDSS) and Mental Health (CDMH), and the California Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers, among others.
