Gregory P. Meisner, Ph.D.
Greg Meisner received his B.A., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from the University of California, San Diego. After a two year post-doctoral appointment at Los Alamos National Lab, he joined General Motors Global Research & Development Center in Warren, Michigan, where he has been conducting industrial research for over 28 years. Dr. Meisner has published over 90 refereed publications, has over 10 patents, and received two John M. Campbell Awards from General Motors. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Ceramic Society, Materials Research Society, Sigma Xi, American Vacuum Society, and American Chemical Society. Dr. Meisner is currently the Principal Investigator for GM’s research projects on advanced thermoelectric technology for automotive waste heat recovery.
